Pre-written questions may be submitted in one of two ways:

Six Hour Meditation

November  30  |  10:00 am – 4:00 pm  |  Main Chapel  (minister led)

The Temple Six Hour Meditations consist of periods of silent mediation lasting approximately 40 – 45 minutes.

Chanting, accompanied by the temple kirtan group, occurs between meditation periods.

To provide the optimum meditation experience, silence from all vocal sounds and stillness of physical movements is requested.

If anyone is new to attending SRF meditation, please review the SRF meditation Guidelines to become familiar with the experience of meditating in groups of SRF members.

If it is necessary to leave the chapel, please do so only during chanting.

The meditation begins with the SRF Energization Exercises which were developed by Paramahansa Yogananda. Participation in the exercises is optional.
