SRF Lessons Study Group

Monday Evenings  |  7:00 pm 
We are excited to start reading the new edition of the SRF Lessons. All those who have subscribed to the new edition of the Lessons are welcome to attend.

Bring your copy of Lesson 1 as well as the Preface and Glossary that come with the first Lesson of the new edition. This will be a wonderful opportunity to study the new Lessons together.

We are also reading The Second Coming of Christ, so please bring your copy of the second volume of Master’s commentary if you have it.  Talk to Thacher Hurd if you have questions.


Learn to Meditate Class

Thursday, March 14th  |  7:00 pm 

Family and friends are invited to a Learn to Meditate Class.

Brother Jayananda will give simple yet profound methods of meditation and provide an introduction to the Kriya Yoga teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.

Sunday School Open House

Sunday, March 17th  |  Noon – 1:30 pm

We are excited to invite parents to a Sunday School Open House. This event will offer parents the experience of attending a Sunday School class just as we would present it to their children.
Each of our teachers will take a portion of the class which will introduce our extraordinary and dedicated Sunday School staff.
 Lunch will be provided for parents and children in the upstairs foyer from Noon to 12:30 pm. 

After lunch the children will be taken downstairs to watch a movie while parents take part in the class.

Please come and have fun with us!!

Temple Day of Service

Saturday, March 23  |  9:30 – 1:30

The day begins at 9:30 am with a 30 minute meditation followed by monthly temple maintenance.

The day ends with a delicious vegetarian lunch for everyone to enjoy in spiritual fellowship.



San Damiano Retreat

Friday to Sunday,  May 3rd – 5th

Registration for the annual San Damiano Retreat on May 3rd to the 5th is now available. Brother Jayananda will lead the retreat titled, ‘How to spiritualize Life’.  

Mary San Agustin will be in the back of the chapel after Sunday services to answer questions and accept registrations.

Early registration is encouraged.


Food and Beverages in Main Chapel

To help preserve the sanctity of the Main Chapel, we ask that all foods and beverages be enjoyed in the East Chapel or the upstairs areas.

Please do not bring food or beverages into the Main Chapel.



Sacramento Center Regional Retreat

The SRF Sacramento Center is having their annual Spring Retreat. 

Registration for the Sacramento Center Spring Retreat being held at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Applegate, CA is now open.

SRF Lessons New Edition 

This greatly enhanced and expanded edition of the Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons is now available. This new edition contains a wealth of additional material from Paramahansaji’s writings and classes, including clearer and more detailed instruction on the SRF meditation techniques and many other subjects.

For those of you who are already a graduate of the SRF Lessons, the availability of the revised Lessons presents a unique opportunity to renew one’s relationship with the Guru and study of the SRF teachings.

All SRF members will be sent an email linked to their personal SRF account with instructions on how to receive the new lessons.
